Complete 2019 GKA Kite World Tour Event Calendar

2019 presents a huge year of international world class competition for both the established Kite-Surf (wave & strapless freestyle) and the newly aligned Freestyle World Tours.

Here’s a run through of the confirmed and last few events to be finalised for this year for both disciplines – which will each crown male and female World Champions at the end of the season.

 

World Cup Stars

5 STAR World Cup includes:
(1) Livestream, (2) International TV coverage, (3) €30.000 Prizemoney.

4 STAR World Cup includes:
2 out of the 3 requirements of a 5 Star World Cup.

3 STAR World Cup includes:
1 out of the 3 requirements of a 5 Star World Cup.

25 February – 3 March (5 star* event)

Dakhla, Morocco:
07 – 10 June (5 star double event that’s also staging Freestyle, 11 – 14 June)

Sylt, Germany:
25 – 30 June (3 star event)

2 – 7 July (double event that’s also staging Freestyle)

Prea, Brazil:
12 – 16 November (4 star event)
