The GKA Youth Kite World Championships will return to the iconic shores of Tarifa, Spain, from September 1st to 5th, 2025
This single-stop event will determine the world’s top young riders in Twintip Freestyle and Surfboard Freestyle across the U14, U16, and U19 categories. Known as Europe’s kiteboarding hub, Tarifa delivers reliable wind conditions and an unbeatable atmosphere, making it the perfect stage for this elite youth competition.

But it’s not just about the titles. This event is also a platform for nurturing the next generation of kiteboarding talent. Riders will take part in seminars and coaching sessions led by experienced pros and industry insiders, offering valuable insight into everything from judging criteria and heat strategy to building a professional career in the sport. These educational moments are designed to help young athletes progress toward competing on the senior World Tour.

Sustainability and environmental awareness are also at the heart of the event. Previous editions have seen riders take part in beach clean-ups and other eco-friendly initiatives, reminding everyone of the importance of protecting the natural spaces we ride in.
