Freestyle Junior World Cup - St Pierre La Mer

11th to 14th April 2019

To understand the origins of the Freestyle Junior World Cup, we must go back to 2002 , to the creation of the first European Cup of this discipline. A competition created and organised by the kitesurf school of SAINT PIERRE LA MER under the direction of Christophe HAMON and Stephen JONES. A championship that saw the birth of great champions such as Gisela Pulido from Spain, Sebastian Garat from France, or Youri Zoon from the Netherlands. In 2016, the event transformed from European Cup to the Junior Kitesurf World Cup.

Each year, this Junior World camp has gathered almost 70 competitors from over 10 different nations. For the last 3 editions, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the event has experienced unprecedented growth, with almost 80 participants for each edition, and more than 20 nationalities represented, and with a global media representation.
