HOW RIDERS WILL QUALIFY – TWINTIP: 

24 MALE RIDERS: 

• The top 10 Big Air male riders from the current Big Air seeding list are already pre-qualified. The current seeding list is the combined ranking of 2022 GKA Big Air World Championship Tarifa result and the result of the GKA Lord of Tram Big Air World Cup 2023.

UPLOAD YOUR VIDEOS AND APPLY TO ENTER THE Qatar Airways GKA Big-Air World Championships Tarifa 2023

Video application: Riders will be selected by their videos and judged as in a real heat. There must be a maximum of 1 trick per video, and 4 videos must be uploaded. Tricks must be from different categories in order to get maximum points. Each trick will be scored out of ten points and the maximum points available is 40.

Big Air Trick Categories 

The tricks repertoire has been broken down in a number of categories. The list of tricks included by category is not extensive, and not limited to the described tricks but gives an indication about how different tricks are being categorized by the judges. The Head Judge has the final say when categorizing a new trick.

In order to bring the variety criteria into effect, if a trick is repeated or if it is an evolution of the same trick (i.e. added rotation), only the highest score from those will count towards the final heat score from each competitor.
