The GKA Kite World Tour is excited to return to the Cape Verdean island of Sal for the first Kite-Surf event of the 2025 season. Cape Verde is one of the best wave locations in the world and has been hosting numerous historical events over a number of years. It’s home to some of the most complete watersport athletes out there and in March we’ll be bringing the best kite-surf athletes to compete at our first Kite-Surf tour event in 2025.

The GKA Kite World Tour is excited to hit Barcares, France for the first Big Air event of the 2025 season. An event with previous history, the GKA is proud to add once again this location to the map. This event will be 100% dedicated to the twin-tip Big Air discipline for both Men and Women. With a month-long waiting period, the competition will take place during the strongest day of Tramontana. So put April in your diaries for what will be a memorable second Big Air World Cup event.

For 2025 the GKA will run a one-stop World Championships event for the Youth discipline within Kiteboarding. We’ll be taking the youth categories to the mecca of kiteboarding once again traveling to none other than Tarifa, Spain. Like last year the disciplines will be Twintip Freestyle and Surfboard Freestyle.
